MTN Uganda is seeking a Senior Manager – Marketing to lead the development and execution of the commercial strategy for Fixed Broadband services and other New Business areas. The role includes pricing, product bundling, and go-to-market plans to drive revenue growth and market penetration for MTN's product portfolio. The Senior Manager will align commercial initiatives with business objectives and monitor commercial performance across revenue generation, customer acquisition, and profitability.
3 years' experience in telecommunications and business management with strong understanding of telecoms products and emerging markets.
At least 1 year of experience managing customer value management, customer analytics, or business intelligence projects.

Requirements
- Minimum bachelor's degree in Marketing, Administration, Commerce, or a related field from an accredited university.
- Master's in Business Administration, Statistics, or Business Computing is an added advantage.
- 5 years' experience in marketing or commercial roles in the ICT industry.
- Proven record in marketing leadership driving adoption, brand equity, and revenue growth.
- Experience influencing CxOs, regulators, and industry leaders in complex, regulated environments.
- Advanced knowledge of SQL, Python, or other data manipulation tools.
- Strategic understanding of the telecommunications environment.
- Effective oral and written communication and business writing skills.
Responsibilities
- Manage the product portfolio including architecting pricing, promotions, and growth roadmaps.
- Oversee all market development endeavors including market positioning, product refinement, and go-to-market strategies.
- Oversee the product offerings lifecycle from ideation, design, and development to launch and beyond.
- Ensure products and services are delivered on time, within budget, and with high quality.
- Responsible for the right mix of pricing, product positioning, and differentiation.
- Acquire, develop, and grow the respective portfolios (Global and Local) ecosystem in line with strategy.
- Design and model analytical frameworks to proactively address usage dips, potential churn, and customer lifetime value.
- Deliver financial and commercial improvement per customer and per product category.
- Recommend strategies to engage customers at various stages of their lifecycle from onboarding to retention and loyalty.
- Monitor NPS, customer satisfaction, churn, retention, revenue, and ARPU and propose recommendations.
- Plan advertising campaigns, promotions, and events and evaluate effectiveness against agreed targets.
- Ensure timely execution of marketing campaigns and budget control.
- Develop analytical models (predictive and reactive) to address customer behavior and prevent downgrade or churn.
- Suggest recommendations for loyalty and retention programs to address usage dips and ARPU downgrade.
- Formulate and implement the overall marketing strategy for Fixed Broadband products, services, and other growth areas in alignment with MTN's ambitions.
- Review and refine strategy based on market analysis, data analysis, competitor analysis, and customer research outcomes.
- Develop the overall roadmap for products and services, including business unit strategy, planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Monitor portfolio performance across products and services; generate BI reports and insights for management decision-making.
