Responsible for the architecture of Security solutions for existing and prospective customers, working closely with Senior stakeholders and Executives within MTN, including Commercial, Product and Delivery teams throughout the sales cycle, to ensure that proposed technical solutions address the customer's needs. The solution sets will span across the capabilities of MTN and its partners. Job Title: Senior Specialist - Security Presales (Fixed Term 3-year Contract). Deep understanding of cloud network security technology, endpoint security, data protection, and identity management systems.

Requirements

  • Relevant OEM Security Certifications: Azure, AWS or Google; Fortinet, Cisco, Palo Alto, Symantec.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in Information Technology and Presales.
  • Prior professional services/consulting background.
  • Experience in global/multinational enterprises and emerging markets.
  • Commercial (TCO) and architecture experience of 3-5 years.

Responsibilities

  • Translate customer requirements into working solutions.
  • Provide input to the strategic direction of technology investments and enterprise architecture.
  • Present business cases to Senior Management for approval and prioritization.
  • Ensure proposed customer solutions are deliverable within timelines, budgets and governance.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to deliver complete, operable solutions.
  • Maintain current OEM certifications and obtain new certifications as required.
  • Contribute to development and review of Security Products and Services roadmaps.
  • Provide pre-sales technical support by examining client infrastructure, architecture and business challenges.
  • Own the proposed Security solution and transition implementation to the Delivery team.
  • Proactively engage customers on latest security trends and new product offerings.
  • Build and maintain continuous technical relationships with corporate customers and partners.
