Job Description
MTN Uganda Limited is seeking a Senior Specialist in Unified Communications and Collaboration (UC&C) Presales to join the Enterprise Business Unit on a Fixed Term 3-year Contract. The role is responsible for the revenue and architecture of UC&C solutions for existing and prospective customers, working closely with Senior stakeholders across Commercial, Product, and Delivery teams throughout the sales cycle.
The role ensures proposed technical solutions address customer needs, spanning the capabilities of MTN and its partners.
BSc in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer/Software Engineering; Master's degree in Technical or Commercial field preferred

Requirements
- Relevant OEM UC&C, Cloud and Security Certifications including Huawei, Cisco, Avaya, Metaswitch
- Minimum 5 years experience in Information Technology and Presales
- Deep understanding of Unified Communication and Collaboration, cloud networking and security technology
- Prior professional services or consulting background
- Experience in global/multinational enterprises in emerging markets
- Experience in guiding customer ICT strategy in large organisations
- Commercial (TCO) and architecture-led experience of 3 to 5 years
- Experience working with CIOs, CFOs, and CEOs to drive proactive pursuits
Responsibilities
- Use commercial acumen to translate customer requirements into working solutions that fit within customer budgets
- Present business cases to Senior Management for approval, funding and prioritization
- Work in cross-functional teams to define, deliver and support the design and development of UC&C technology solutions
- Anchor the account management and go-to-market activities for key identified clients across segments and regions
- Support continuous technical relationships with customers and partners to ensure high levels of satisfaction
- Provide technical input on pricing for tenders and proposals
- Participate in the supplier selection process, evaluating usefulness, cost of products and making appropriate recommendations
- Keep abreast of current and future trends and contribute to the development, review and analysis of UC&C Products and Services roadmaps
- Provide pre-sales technical support and expertise in response to client requirements on security, cost, performance, reliability, and operational efficiency
