Responsibilities
- Conduct surveys, demand forecasting, and analysis to guide optimal sourcing and stocking strategies for specialties petroleum products.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of Specialties products trading processes and procedures in line with business scale and regulatory requirements.
- Support the creation and execution of pricing strategies, promotions, and new product development initiatives.
- Track industry specifications, technology, and market requirements, implementing initiatives to ensure business sustainability in collaboration with business partners and as per guidelines provided by the relevant regulatory stakeholders.
- Identify and manage regional and local logistics processes for efficient supply and distribution of Specialty petroleum products.
- Collaborate with QHSSE teams to establish and maintain health, safety, security, and environmental systems in the handling and storage of Specialty petroleum products.
- Supervise the initiation and onboarding of customers and subsequently support the
- Trading Officers to manage the relationships to deliver the business targets , aligning with approved business cases and mandates.
- Provide technical input for negotiations with business and financing partners, and prepare regular business operations updates for shareholders and stakeholders.
- Participate in developing and executing annual stakeholder engagement plans to secure buy-in and achieve business goals for the Specialty Business unit
