Job Description

Requirements
- Experience in trade finance, foreign exchange, or payments operations
- Knowledge of SWIFT transactions and foreign currency processing
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and maintain accuracy under pressure
- Knowledge of FirstRand products and financial services is an advantage
- Commitment to compliance and governance standards
Responsibilities
- Validate foreign currency cheque transactions and process SWIFT inflow and outflow transactions
- Ensure reports are generated and submitted on time for compliance and regulatory purposes
- Provide first-time resolution of customer queries and complaints related to trade and payments
- Meet turnaround times while ensuring availability, reliability, and accuracy
- Propose improvements to internal processes that impact service levels and customer satisfaction
- Maximise cross-selling opportunities and drive adoption of digital and self-service options
- Achieve sales targets in line with performance scorecards
- Identify opportunities to increase revenue and grow the client base
- Maintain specialised knowledge on all FirstRand approved products, application procedures, and fulfilment processes
- Flag opportunities to migrate processes to digital platforms and support technology improvements
- Comply with governance, compliance standards, and escalate risks as identified
- Manage own performance and professional development in alignment with team goals
