Requirements
- Must have a first or second upper class in Bachelor’s degree not more than five (5) years ago in the following disciplines; Social Work, Governance and International Relations, Public Administration, Political Science, International Relations, or a closely related field.
- Enrolled in, or demonstrated commitment to enroll for, a Master's degree in Social Work, Governance and International Relations, Public Administration, Political Science, International Relations, or a closely related field. Candidates who have completed a relevant Master's degree, or are in the final stages of completing one, will have an added advantage.
- Promise of skill and effectiveness in teaching and advising students.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and time-management skills.
- Must have excellent computer skills.
- Must be able to learn, adapt, and be flexible in an office and classroom.
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a wider team.
- Must be self-motivated, teachable, willing and able to learn, and a team player
- Must be dependable and committed to continuous improvement, learning, and personal growth.
- Ability to solve problems quickly, accurately, effectively, and efficiently.
- Ability to multi-task and stay organized.
- Must be able to pay attention to detail.

Responsibilities
- Teach the allocated workload in a semester
- Prepare assessment tools and marking guides accordingly
- Teach and assess students in accordance with the University’s Curriculum
- Must be present for all lecturers
- Should attend to students’ academic needs and also offer advice.
- Must be available for departmental, academic and administrative meetings
- Should be willing to uphold the University’s instruments of Identity
