Yes — but a separate page if you want to sell finished furniture. The /become-a-carpenter-uganda page is for hire-by-the-job carpenters: doors, cabinets fitted in client homes, repairs, window frames, custom built-ins. If you sell finished pieces from a workshop, contact us about the freelancer marketplace instead.
Door repair is UGX 60,000 to 120,000. A full wardrobe build is UGX 600,000 to 1.5M. Kitchen cabinet installation is UGX 800,000 to 2.5M. Carpenters who specialise in built-ins and quality work charge well above general handymen.
Either the client buys it themselves or you buy on their behalf and add transport. We make this explicit on the booking screen so the conversation does not start awkwardly.
Money is escrow-held. Buyer pays via mobile money or card before the job, you complete the work, buyer confirms, we send your share to your mobile money minus a small platform fee.
