How do I get plumbing jobs in Kampala?▼

Sign up here, complete your profile with two clear photos of jobs you have done, and accept verification. Once verified, you appear on the page that buyers in Kololo, Muyenga, Ntinda and other Kampala neighbourhoods land on when they search for a plumber. We send the requests to your WhatsApp.

How much do plumbers earn in Uganda?▼

Realistic numbers from our platform: a small leak repair is UGX 40,000 to 60,000. A full bathroom refit can be UGX 200,000 or more. Steady plumbers booked through us make UGX 800,000 to 1.5M a month, depending on how fast they respond and how widely they cover.

Do I need a certificate to be listed?▼

A UVTAB or polytechnic certificate is helpful but not required. What we check is real experience, references, and that you can show jobs you have actually completed. If you have done plumbing work for two years and have customers who can vouch for you, that is enough to start.

How does payment work?▼

The buyer pays through ProGigFinder using mobile money or card. The money is held in escrow until you finish the job and the buyer confirms. We then release it to your registered MTN or Airtel mobile money number, minus a small platform fee. No chasing customers for payment.

How quickly will I start getting requests?▼

Verification takes one to three working days. Once your profile is live and you have set your service areas (the neighbourhoods you are willing to travel to), you start receiving requests immediately. The first booking usually comes within the first week if you respond to the chat fast.
