Common questions
Do I need to own a truck?▼
Not necessarily. If you have a reliable partnership with a truck owner where you can guarantee a vehicle within 2 hours of confirming a booking, that is enough to start. If you own the truck yourself, even better.
How much do movers earn?▼
A small one-bedroom apartment move within Kampala is UGX 150,000 to 250,000. A 3-bedroom house is UGX 400,000 to 800,000. Office moves and inter-city jobs go higher. A team running 2-3 jobs a week makes UGX 1.5M to 3M a month.
What about damages?▼
We expect you to be careful. Buyers can leave reviews. For high-value moves, we encourage written quotes that list assumptions (number of items, fragile items, parking access). We do not currently offer insurance — you handle direct claims if anything is damaged.
How does payment work?▼
Buyer pays into escrow before the move, you do the move, buyer confirms, we release the money. Platform fee is shown clearly before you accept.
Can I list both moving and inter-city deliveries?▼
Yes. Many movers on the platform also do single-item deliveries between cities. You set your service areas during signup.
