Day nanny in Kampala is UGX 200,000 to 400,000 a month. Live-in is UGX 250,000 to 500,000 (with food and accommodation provided on top). Newborn specialists and English-speaking nannies in Kololo/Muyenga/Naguru households charge UGX 500,000 to 800,000.
Yes. We never deduct anything from your salary. Families pay a small platform fee separate from your wage. Your monthly pay is whatever the family agreed with you.
Call us before signing up. If you have only verbal references (a previous family who can confirm you worked for them on a phone call), we may still verify you. If you have no references at all, we generally cannot list you for live-in roles, but day-care and shorter assignments may still work.
We verify families too — they must use a real ID, real address, and pay through the platform. If a family treats you unfairly, you can report them and we suspend their account. The platform exists to protect both sides.
