I work from a stage in town, can I list?▼
Yes, as long as buyers can find you. Plot/Stage 7 Kafumbe Mukasa Road is a real address that works on our platform. What matters is that the buyer can drop a phone off and pick it up reliably. If you also offer pick-up service, even better.
How much do phone repair technicians earn?▼
A screen replacement on a mid-range Android is UGX 80,000 to 200,000 (you keep the labour, the part is buyer-supplied or you mark up). A battery is UGX 30,000 to 80,000. iPhone repairs pay much more. A busy technician makes UGX 1M to 2.5M a month, half from labour, half from parts markup.
Who supplies the parts?▼
Either you supply (and mark up — we let you charge for parts on top of labour) or the buyer brings the part. We make this explicit before booking confirms.
How does payment work?▼
Buyer pays via mobile money or card upfront, you do the repair, buyer confirms, you get the money less a small platform fee. Reduces "they did not pay me" disputes that are common in the trade.
Do I need to repair every brand?▼
No. Many technicians on the platform specialise — Samsung-only, iPhone-only, basic Android only. You list what you handle in your profile and we only send you matching requests.
