Requirements

  • O-Level education (KCSE)
  • Valid driving licence
  • Basic mechanics course - Government Trade Test III
  • At least 5 years of working experience as a senior driver
  • Strong knowledge of road safety and traffic laws
  • Commitment to confidentiality and timeliness

Responsibilities

  • Provide transport services and related duties in the assigned region for the Digital IT department
  • Pick up and drop off the IT Director and relevant staff to and from the field
  • Transfer staff from one point to another on official duties
  • Handle airport pick-ups and transfers for staff and VIPs
  • Deliver high quality customer service in all interactions with staff
  • Run urgent Digital IT Operations errands including delivering and collecting urgent letters and parcels
  • Ensure compliance with all road and safety traffic rules
  • Monitor vehicle maintenance and renewal dates and ensure company vehicles are in perfect working condition
  • Carry out routine vehicle check-ups every morning and check if vehicles are due for service
  • Drop and pick up assigned vehicles to and from the garage
