Requirements
- A minimum of a Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or any relevant discipline
- At least 2 years of experience operating packaging line machinery in a food & beverage or similar FMCG environment
- Working knowledge of shrink-wrappers, labellers, and CIP
- Strong commitment to safety, quality, and hygiene standards
- Willingness to work shifts as required by the production schedule
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor the shrink-wrapper and cermix labelling / packaging machines on the beverage line
- Ensure smooth changeovers between SKUs, formats, and pack sizes
- Perform pre-start checks, routine cleaning, sanitation, and CIP as required
- Monitor line KPIs including OEE, waste, and throughput; report deviations to the supervisor
- Carry out minor troubleshooting and support planned maintenance interventions
- Adhere to plant safety standards (LOTO, PPE, 5S) and food-safety / hygiene requirements
