Hariss International Limited is hiring a Technical Operator – Blow Molder at our Kampala manufacturing site.

Requirements
- A minimum of a Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or any relevant discipline
- At least 2–3 years of experience operating a blow-molder (Sidel, KHS, Sipa, or similar) in a beverage plant
- Working knowledge of PET preform handling, mold changes, and process troubleshooting
- Ability to read technical drawings and equipment manuals
- Strong commitment to safety, quality, and hygiene standards
Responsibilities
- Operate the blow-molding machine to produce PET bottles meeting design and quality specifications
- Set up, change over, and adjust molds and process parameters for different bottle formats
- Perform preventive maintenance, cleaning, and pre-start checks on the blow-molder
- Monitor process KPIs including cycle time, wall thickness, weight, and defect rates
- Diagnose and rectify minor faults; escalate major issues to maintenance
- Ensure PET preform quality checks before feeding the machine
- Adhere to plant safety, food-safety, and hygiene standards at all times
