Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, Education, Theology, Counselling, Social Work, or related field
- Committed Christian in good standing with a UCU-recognised church
- Ability to reside in the halls of residence during the term
- Strong interpersonal, mentorship, and student-support skills
- Prior experience mentoring or supervising young adults is an advantage
Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day supervision, welfare, and pastoral care of male students in UCU halls of residence
- Enforce hall rules, curfews, and student discipline in line with UCU policies
- Serve as the first point of contact for residents on hall and welfare matters
- Coordinate hall cleanliness, safety, and maintenance issues with facilities teams
- Support hall meetings, spiritual formation activities, and mentorship of resident students
- Report incidents, concerns, and issues promptly to the Senior Male Custodian and Directorate of Students Affairs
