Requirements
- Bachelor of Accounting
- 3 to 5 years in a similar environment of which 1 to 2 years ideally at a junior specialist level
- Banking or financial industry experience is an added advantage
- Completed articles signed off by the Public Accountants' and Auditors' Board is an added advantage
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modelling
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Responsibilities
- Deliver accurate, timely, and insightful management reporting and analysis to support effective business decision-making on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis
- Engage closely with business units to understand financial performance, identify trends, and continuously improve reporting processes
- Assist business units in strategy development, financial reporting, tax, and costing
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual divisional income statements, balance sheets, and annual budgets
- Monitor all balance sheet accounts and prepare monthly suspense account summaries for management reporting
- Compile and manage budgets and forecasts per business unit and support budget presentations to internal stakeholders
- Interpret financial data against budgets and forecasts to provide clear, actionable insights
- Manage the fixed asset lifecycle and oversee key operational renewals efficiently
- Build and maintain strong professional working relationships with key stakeholders at all levels
- Maintain expert knowledge on relevant legislative amendments and industry best practices
