M-KOPA is hiring its first-ever AI Operations Lead to lead a brand-new team that designs, ships, and scales automations and AI agents across the organisation. The tech foundation is already proven — 12 months of Claude, Notion, HiBob, and Entra automations running in production. Now M-KOPA needs someone to lead, scale, and define what this team becomes. You'll start with two engineers, reporting to the Director of Security, and shape the team from there. Fully remote within UTC -1 to UTC +3. Requirements

  • Hands-on experience building automations — scripting, workflow tools, or AI-assisted development
  • Hands-on experience building agents using agentic frameworks such as LangChain, MCP, Google ADK, or similar
  • People leadership experience — led or mentored engineers and can own a team's delivery and development
  • Familiarity with AI tooling stack: Claude/Anthropic tooling, LangChain, MCP, Google ADK
  • Experience with Notion, HiBob, or Entra integrations a plus

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of engineers designing, shipping, and scaling automations and AI agents across M-KOPA
  • Keep the AI tooling stack healthy as usage scales across the organisation
  • Stay current on emerging AI tools and technologies — distinguish genuine value from hype
  • Help refine AI training for the wider organisation including Engineering teams
  • Shape the team structure and delivery roadmap from an initial two-engineer base
  • Report to the Director of Security
