Requirements
- National Senior Certificate / N3 with Mathematics, Physical/Engineering Science and English
- Millwright Trade Certificate
- Flameproof Certificate, Gas Testing Certificate, Competent A Certificate
- 6+ years relevant experience in engineering maintenance
- Strong planning, engineering technology and SHE compliance skills
Responsibilities
- Manage and carry out engineering and maintenance strategies and overhaul plans to ensure department KPIs are met
- Manage maintenance costs and budget in appointed area of responsibility
- Ensure availability of equipment by effectively managing downtime, MTTF and MTTR
- Implement operational projects and ensure engineering compliance with SOPs and legislation
- Conduct failure trend analysis, root cause elimination and predictive maintenance programs
- Ensure best-in-class safety performance and SHE compliance (zero harm, zero fatalities)
- Manage recruitment, training, coaching and career development of team members
