Job Description
TotalEnergies EP Uganda is offering a Graduate Trainee – Field Operations (GSI) position for recent graduates with a background in Petroleum Geoscience or related disciplines.
This is a structured development programme providing practical exposure to geological and subsurface field operations. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Geoscience, Geology, Geophysics, or related discipline
- Graduated within the last 2 years (class of 2024 or 2025)
- Strong interest in geological and subsurface operations
- Good analytical and data interpretation skills
- Ability to work in remote field locations
- Good teamwork and communication skills
- Ugandan national or permanent resident
Responsibilities
- Support geological and subsurface field operations activities
- Assist in collection and analysis of geological and production data
- Participate in field surveys and site inspections
- Contribute to preparation of geological reports and subsurface assessments
- Collaborate with geoscience and engineering teams on integrated field studies
- Learn and apply geological and geophysical interpretation techniques
- Support compliance with HSE standards in field operations
- Assist in documentation and data management for GSI activities
