Job Description
Moniepoint MFB is seeking a Lead for Quality Assurance in a high-impact leadership role responsible for owning and driving the strategy, execution, and culture of Quality Assurance across Engineering teams. You will lead a team of QA Analysts and Engineers, ensuring the products built meet the highest standards of quality and reliability, working directly with developers, product managers, and engineering leadership.

Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in Quality Engineering, including 4 to 5 years leading engineering teams
- Strong programming skills in Java with a focus on tooling and automation
- Strong experience in testing APIs, microservices, mobile native, and web applications
- Proficiency in working with Linux/Unix environments and cloud infrastructure (GCP, Docker)
- Strong knowledge of SQL, NoSQL databases, and pub-sub technologies
- Experience in non-functional testing including performance, security, and monitoring/alerting
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Harness)
- Familiarity with AI/ML-based test generation or test impact analysis
- Strong experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies and leading small-to-medium teams
- Experience owning and overseeing system architecture for large-scale platforms
- Proven ability to foster collaboration, trust, and transparency across diverse teams
Responsibilities
- Mentor and manage QA Analysts and Engineers through coaching, feedback, and career development
- Collaborate closely with engineers to review product requirements, technical documentation, and code
- Drive continuous improvement in QA processes, tools, and team dynamics
- Ensure deep product understanding within the QA team for thorough and user-centric test cases
- Promote a strong quality culture across engineering, product, and business stakeholders
- Transform test metrics into dashboards and reports that guide team performance and product health
- Lead the QA function across multiple engineering teams, driving quality standards, strategies, and frameworks that scale
- Design and enforce test strategies including manual and automated testing, regression, performance, and exploratory testing
- Build out meaningful dashboards and metrics to measure QA performance: test cases written, bug leakage, regression rates
