About the Role Paystack works with some of the most ambitious and innovative businesses on the continent, and we don’t just help them accept payments. We help them grow. The Business Development Partner (BDP) role sits at the heart of that mission. As a BDP, you’ll be at the frontline of Paystack’s growth engine. You’ll source and close new business, build enduring relationships with founders and business leaders, and help your portfolio of merchants unlock the full value of our platform, whether they’re a fast-scaling fintech or a beloved local retail brand. You’ll be assigned to a specific vertical (such as fintech, insurance, health, education, e-commerce, healthcare, airlines, etc.), and you’ll take full ownership of growth and retention within that space. But this isn’t a typical sales role. BDPs at Paystack are trusted advisors to their merchants. You’ll be in the room for the strategic decisions that define how a business moves. You’ll analyse payments performance, spot drop-offs or failure points, and drive changes that boost revenue or reduce churn. You’ll champion your merchants internally and make sure Paystack is building what matters most to them.
