Requirements
- Grade 12 with pure Mathematics, Science and English, or Full N3 equivalent
- CHIETA NQF Level 2 Occupational Qualification (Mechanical)
- 1–2+ years relevant experience
- Driver's license
- Strong troubleshooting, planning and engineering implementation skills
Responsibilities
- Support maintenance of mechanical/electro-mechanical systems and equipment
- Operate mechanical/electro-mechanical devices and accurately collect field data to ensure optimum productivity
- Identify faults using applicable methods to ensure equipment availability
- Perform plant inspections and repairs to ensure equipment reliability
- Participate in root cause analyses, PDAs and risk assessments
- Conduct IMS inspections and ensure correct history feedback is captured for upgrades
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities and attend toolbox talks
