Requirements

  • National Senior Certificate / Full N3 / NCV Level 4 with Mathematics, Science and Business English
  • Occupational Trade Certificate - Electro Mechanic
  • Flameproof Certificate and Gas Testing Certificate
  • 8+ years relevant experience
  • Strong leadership, troubleshooting and compliance management skills

Responsibilities

  • Lead provision of effective electro-mechanical equipment maintenance and reliability
  • Plan, control and manage operations/maintenance activities and ensure maximum task quality and efficiency
  • During emergencies, evaluate abnormalities and take corrective action to avoid downtime and SHE incidents
  • Coach and technically train own staff; ensure practical declaration of competence for plant operation
  • Conduct potential deviation analysis (PDA), root cause analysis (RCA) and risk assessments
  • Ensure compliance to PSM, SHERQ legal standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001)
  • Manage team performance, motivation, wellness and adherence to company values
