Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Music Education or a related field
• Experience teaching music at primary and/or secondary level
• Strong skills in instrumental and vocal instruction and music theory
• A love for music and a passion for student development
• Ability to prepare pupils for practical and theory music examinations
• Alignment with the school's mission and values

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging music lessons across the primary and/or secondary levels
• Provide instrumental and vocal instruction to individuals and groups
• Teach music theory, sight-reading, ear training, and performance skills
• Prepare pupils for music examinations, competitions, choir performances, and school events
• Contribute to the school's music programme including choir, band, ensembles, and cultural performances
• Assess pupil progress, provide regular feedback, and maintain accurate performance records
• Foster a love for music, creativity, and student confidence through inclusive teaching
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and support the school's holistic development approach
