As Platform Tech Lead, you will serve as the technical anchor for the Platform Engineering team, leading critical production implementations and taking full ownership of the technical roadmap to ensure 99.99% availability for institutional partners and global financial networks. This is a fully remote role. Act as the final technical reviewer for complex setups including global traffic routing, EKS scaling, and networking implementations (VPNs, certificate rotation for mTLS)

Requirements

  • 7+ years of hands-on technical experience with large-scale production environments and infrastructure
  • 2+ years of experience leading site reliability engineers or software developers
  • In-depth knowledge of AWS architecture (Serverless, Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, EKS, and S3)
  • Strong grasp of Kubernetes, microservices, and CI/CD principles (GitHub Actions)
  • Proven ability to learn and master new technologies including AI-driven infrastructure and emerging FinTech protocols
  • Solid understanding of performance monitoring tools and Linux operating systems
  • Strong grasp of complex networking concepts for global multi-region deployments and secure B2B integrations

Responsibilities

  • Architect robust solutions to ensure strict adherence to 99.99% System Uptime OKR
  • Identify underlying root causes for critical production incidents and provide permanent fixes
  • Lead service capacity planning, demand forecasting, and system tuning for scalability
  • Establish end-to-end monitoring and alerting on all critical systems to ensure SLAs are met
  • Partner with SecOps to ensure global infrastructure meets rigorous security standards
  • Align technical priorities with business goals and provide accurate status updates to senior leaders
