Requirements

  • Degree in ICT or a business-related field
  • PMP or PRINCE2 certification and Agile certification
  • At least 4 years of experience in managing IT projects
  • Strong knowledge of Waterfall and Agile project delivery concepts
  • Working knowledge of core infrastructure domains including cloud, compute, virtualisation, containers, storage, networking, and databases
  • Ability to motivate teams to achieve business outcomes
  • Experience with project management tools such as MS Project, SharePoint, and EPM

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and delivery of infrastructure-focused projects developing integrated project plans covering data center, cloud, virtualisation, and platform components
  • Coordinate infrastructure project execution ensuring engineering, architecture, and vendor teams are aligned and delivering to agreed milestones
  • Manage cross-functional dependencies across infrastructure, application, vendor, and business teams
  • Enforce stage gates and readiness criteria across the project lifecycle including infrastructure and business readiness
  • Proactively manage risks and issues arising from technical complexity, vendor delivery, and integration points
  • Track and manage project financials including CAPEX utilisation for infrastructure initiatives
  • Produce clear, insight-driven reporting and governance updates reflecting true project health and key risks
  • Ensure structured project closure and transition including operational handover, documentation, and lessons learned
  • Foster collaboration across diverse stakeholder groups balancing priorities between technical teams and business units
  • Provide leadership and oversight for project teams ensuring clarity of roles and strong execution discipline
