Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 2 or more years of experience in software testing and test automation
- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman, Rest Assured, or SoapUI
- Familiarity with performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps
- Experience with test automation frameworks such as Selenium
- Experience with SQL and database testing
- ISTQB certification is preferred but not required
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to testing
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and execute automated and manual test cases
- Design test plans, test scripts, and test scenarios based on business and technical requirements
- Identify, document, and track defects using bug-tracking tools
- Perform functional, regression, integration, performance, and security testing
- Implement and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, JUnit, TestNG, or similar frameworks
- Develop test automation for APIs, web applications, and mobile applications
- Work with CI/CD pipelines to integrate automated tests for continuous testing
- Work closely with developers, business analysts, and project managers to ensure test coverage and quality
- Provide test reports, defect analysis, and recommendations for improvement
- Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives
