Requirements

  • University degree in Quantity Surveying, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or Facility Management (required)
  • Professional qualification in RICS, IQSK, IFMA, BIFM or equivalent (added advantage)
  • Minimum 4 years experience in construction and facility operations, managing electrical systems, maintenance contracts, and capital projects.
  • Proficiency in MS Project, AutoCAD, and cost estimation tools.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and control project costs by preparing cost estimates, budgets, bills of quantities, and final accounts for construction, renovation, and refurbishment projects.
  • Manage tendering and contracting for works and services by preparing tender documents, evaluating bids, and supporting contract award and administration.
  • Monitor project execution and expenditure through site visits, verification of progress, and approval of payments.
  • Plan and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance for all bank facilities including branches, offices, ATMs, and staff residences.
  • Supervise renovation, relocation, and refurbishment works to ensure compliance with approved designs, quality standards, budgets, and timelines.
  • Oversee electrical systems and energy infrastructure including power distribution, generators, UPS, solar systems, and lighting.
  • Manage vendors and service providers by contracting, supervising performance, and enforcing SLAs.
  • Ensure health, safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance across all bank premises.
