We are looking for a result-driven and analytical Senior Software Engineer (Backend) who will troubleshoot and improve existing backend applications and processes. You will use your understanding of programming tools and languages to analyse current code, formulate more efficient processes, solve problems and create a more seamless experience for users.

Requirements
- 5+ years of industry experience
- Bachelor's or higher in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent
- Experience with DevOps principles
- Experience with Microservices and Event-Driven architecture
- Strong computer science fundamentals, algorithms, and data structures background
- Solid experience with C#, .Net, .Net Core
- Deep understanding of Source Code Management
- In-depth understanding of Cloud Technologies (Azure, AWS)
- Strong understanding of databases and SQL
- In-depth understanding of REST APIs, SOAP & RPC
- Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Experience in technical writing and API documentation
- Familiar with project management tools (e.g. Trello, Jira)
Responsibilities
- Build high-quality reusable code that can be used in the future
- Develop functional and sustainable web applications with clean code
- Troubleshoot and debug applications
- Conduct tests and optimise performance
- Work with engineers building client-facing applications to integrate UI elements with server-side logic
- Implement modern technologies to improve legacy applications
- Collect, analyse and address technical and design requirements
- Help to create reusable code and libraries for future use
- Train and support internal teams
- Interact with developers, designers and system administrators to identify new features
