Senior Back-end Engineer

Requirements

• 5+ years of industry experience
• Bachelor's or higher in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent
• Experience with DevOps principles
• Experience with Microservices and Event-Driven architecture
• Strong computer science fundamentals, algorithms, and data structures background
• Solid experience with C#, .Net, .Net Core
• Deep understanding of Source Code Management
• In-depth understanding of Cloud Technologies (Azure, AWS)
• Strong understanding of databases and SQL
• In-depth understanding of REST APIs, SOAP & RPC
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Experience in technical writing and API documentation
• Familiar with project management tools (e.g. Trello, Jira)

Responsibilities

• Build high-quality reusable code that can be used in the future
• Develop functional and sustainable web applications with clean code
• Troubleshoot and debug applications
• Conduct tests and optimise performance
• Work with engineers building client-facing applications to integrate UI elements with server-side logic
• Implement modern technologies to improve legacy applications
• Collect, analyse and address technical and design requirements
• Help to create reusable code and libraries for future use
• Train and support internal teams
• Interact with developers, designers and system administrators to identify new features
• Stay informed about emerging technologies
