We're looking for a Senior Back-End Engineer who is technically strong, deeply thoughtful, and comfortable owning systems that operate in high-stakes, real-world environments. Requirements
- 6+ years of professional experience as a Back-End Engineer (Senior-level / Tech Lead depth expected)
- Strong hands-on experience with Domain Driven Development
- Strong experience with Node.js and modern JavaScript/TypeScript
- Solid hands-on experience with AWS (or equivalent cloud platforms)
- Proven experience building serverless and Kubernetes architectures (Lambda, API Gateway, SQS/SNS, DynamoDB)
- Experience designing and operating event-driven microservices
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, async workflows, and distributed systems
- Nice to have: exposure to fintech, payments, and high-regulation systems; basic understanding of blockchain or crypto transaction flows
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services powering mission-critical financial workflows
- Own features end-to-end: from design and implementation to monitoring and iteration
- Build and evolve event-driven, serverless and Kubernetes microservices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable solutions
- Write clean, testable, and maintainable code with the future in mind
- Participate actively in architecture discussions, code reviews, and design reviews
- Ensure systems are observable, resilient, and production-ready
- Uphold and improve engineering standards, patterns, and best practices
