We're looking for a Senior Back-End Engineer who is technically strong, deeply thoughtful, and comfortable owning systems that operate in high-stakes, real-world environments. Requirements

  • 6+ years of professional experience as a Back-End Engineer (Senior-level / Tech Lead depth expected)
  • Strong hands-on experience with Domain Driven Development
  • Strong experience with Node.js and modern JavaScript/TypeScript
  • Solid hands-on experience with AWS (or equivalent cloud platforms)
  • Proven experience building serverless and Kubernetes architectures (Lambda, API Gateway, SQS/SNS, DynamoDB)
  • Experience designing and operating event-driven microservices
  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, async workflows, and distributed systems
  • Nice to have: exposure to fintech, payments, and high-regulation systems; basic understanding of blockchain or crypto transaction flows

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services powering mission-critical financial workflows
  • Own features end-to-end: from design and implementation to monitoring and iteration
  • Build and evolve event-driven, serverless and Kubernetes microservices
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable solutions
  • Write clean, testable, and maintainable code with the future in mind
  • Participate actively in architecture discussions, code reviews, and design reviews
  • Ensure systems are observable, resilient, and production-ready
  • Uphold and improve engineering standards, patterns, and best practices
