Requirements

• Experience handling performance reviews including at least 1 performance review cycle independently.
• Hands-on project management experience ensuring timelines and quality within constraints.
• Great communicator with a record of mentorship and helping others in career growth.

Responsibilities

• Build a culture of collaboration that embodies Branch values and helps achieve goals as a distributed team.
• Work with stakeholders to recruit, grow, and empower a team of driven engineers who have high expectations around ownership, impact, and technical excellence.
• Craft a thoughtful, long-term technical strategy that anticipates future needs while being pragmatic about immediate requirements.
• Serve as a hands-on technical contributor and mentor for the team, rolling up sleeves and doing actual technical work when appropriate.
• Work with other engineering managers and functional leads to set direction and ambitious goals for the team, Engineering, and Branch as a whole.
