AngloGold Ashanti (Iduapriem) Limited operates the combined Teberebie and Iduapriem open-pit gold mines at Tarkwa in the Western Region of Ghana with a workforce of over 1,400 including contractors. The Survey Assistant supports mine surveyors and leading hands in carrying out assigned survey tasks at the Iduapriem Gold Mine.

Requirements
- Diploma or Certificate in Surveying or related discipline from a recognized institution
- 1 to 3 years working experience in mine survey or similar environment
- Proficiency in the use of survey equipment, mainly total station and GPS
- Good knowledge in UAV, Mining Surveying Processes and Practices
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Access and data management
- High level of energy, self-motivation and strong organizational skills
- Valid driver's license and proficiency in driving light vehicles
Responsibilities
- Assist in carrying out daily pit face pick-ups and staking TBMs on all mining faces
- Assist in staking out pit designs and ore mark outs as required
- Assist in setting out and picking up points for Geology exploration and RC grade control drilling
- Assist in carrying out stockpile surveys as and when required
- Assist in carrying out farm surveys and line cutting projects
- Assist in setting out ground control points for drone flights
