We're looking for a Technical Team Lead who is technically strong and comfortable owning systems in high-stakes environments. As Technical Team Lead of our payments POD, you will promote collaboration and ensure successful delivery of projects, working within an agile delivery philosophy using NodeJS, TypeScript, VueJS, Serverless Framework, AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, Kubernetes, and more. Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience as a Full-Stack Engineer/Developer, with 3+ years at Senior Engineer level
  • Strong experience working in AWS cloud architecture
  • Strong hands-on experience with Domain Driven Development, Node.js, and modern JavaScript/TypeScript
  • Proven experience building serverless and Kubernetes architectures (Lambda, API Gateway, SQS/SNS, DynamoDB)
  • Experience designing and operating event-driven microservices
  • Experience planning and prioritizing work, identifying dependencies, facilitating technical decisions
  • Ability to support and mentor your team while delivering work independently
  • Strong communication skills with non-technical stakeholders

Responsibilities

  • Lead the team in scoping, estimating, and delivering product features and fixes with quality; responsible for planning, supervising, and documenting features
  • Design for regulatory constraints, idempotency, reconciliation, and overall system robustness
  • Own the technical correctness of payments/B2B flows and ensure features meet business requirements
  • Act as the primary technical liaison between the payments pod and stakeholders
  • Surface feasibility, constraints, and risks early; translate partner requirements into technical implications
  • Champion adherence to internal coding standards, development processes, and design best practices
  • Mentor engineers to deepen domain understanding and technical judgment
  • Identify and prevent technical and operational risks before they surface in production
