Requirements
- Matric/N3 with Mathematics, English and Physical Science
- National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- 1+ year relevant experience
- Strong troubleshooting, planning and engineering implementation skills
- Ability to manage ambiguity and balance stakeholder needs
Responsibilities
- Set up and maintain mechanical/electro-mechanical systems and assist with installation
- Troubleshoot malfunctions and blackouts and repair machinery to ensure strong infrastructure
- Ensure work standards are met according to quality, quantity and due dates
- Optimize and control resources effectively while maintaining cost awareness
- Apply safety in all practices, specifically project planning and execution
- Develop suitable technical proposals based on practical and theoretical knowledge
- Continuously improve work methods and share ideas to optimise equipment, systems and processes
