Requirements

  • FSCA Recognised Qualification at minimum NQF Level 7
  • RE5 certification
  • 10 years overall experience in the Financial Services Industry, of which 5 years in a complex lending role
  • Strong credit analysis and financial modelling skills
  • Experience with high-net-worth or private banking clients preferred

Responsibilities

  • Design customised lending structures for complex client situations including securities-based lending, luxury mortgages and bridge loans
  • Arrange tailored mortgages for luxury residential properties and structure loans secured by investment portfolios
  • Create aircraft, yacht and art-secured financing solutions; structure interest-only loans with flexible repayment terms
  • Analyse complex income streams and asset portfolios; conduct sophisticated credit analysis beyond traditional metrics
  • Evaluate collateral values for specialised assets and determine appropriate loan-to-value ratios for various asset classes
  • Collaborate with the relationship team during client meetings; educate clients on leveraging strategies and their implications
  • Advise on optimal debt structures within overall wealth plans and provide insights on interest rate environments
