Requirements
- FSCA Recognised Qualification at minimum NQF Level 7
- RE5 certification
- 10 years overall experience in the Financial Services Industry, of which 5 years in a complex lending role
- Strong credit analysis and financial modelling skills
- Experience with high-net-worth or private banking clients preferred
Responsibilities
- Design customised lending structures for complex client situations including securities-based lending, luxury mortgages and bridge loans
- Arrange tailored mortgages for luxury residential properties and structure loans secured by investment portfolios
- Create aircraft, yacht and art-secured financing solutions; structure interest-only loans with flexible repayment terms
- Analyse complex income streams and asset portfolios; conduct sophisticated credit analysis beyond traditional metrics
- Evaluate collateral values for specialised assets and determine appropriate loan-to-value ratios for various asset classes
- Collaborate with the relationship team during client meetings; educate clients on leveraging strategies and their implications
- Advise on optimal debt structures within overall wealth plans and provide insights on interest rate environments
