Reports directly to the Operations Manager Trade Natura Resources (NR), Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania. Ensuring all relevant lifting equipment performance, certification and condition data are recorded accurately for input into the Company’s data recording system, defining standards for and participate in the monitoring and assessment of lifting operations, contributing to conjunction with HSE Dept. to the Site’s safety effectiveness through recommending improvements in procedures and work practices. Adhere to the Company’s Health, Safety & Environment policies, procedures, and standards. Providing technical advice on matters pertaining to lifting operations deviations or non-compliances. Providing support to Maintenance Teams as necessary in the detail and execution of preventative and corrective maintenance activities on all lifting equipment You should have relevant bachelor’s degree in degree in Civil, Mechanical Engineering, or Level 3 Diploma in Maintenance Engineering Technology or Level 3 Diploma in Building Services Engineering or Level 4 Higher National Certificate in Lift Engineering or similar field from recognized University or Colleges. 2 - 4 years of relevant work experience in construction/Oil and gas industry. A good understanding of health and safety issues, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, good IT skills and good communication skills.
