The project aims to support the sustainability and resilience of faith-based health services through strengthened institutional capacity, improved community health financing mechanisms, enhanced governance, and locally led solutions that contribute to improved health outcomes. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager-Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) who will lead the design, implementation, and management of MEAL systems for the anticipated project. The successful candidate will ensure robust MEAL system design, lead the monitoring of CHI performance and quality, evidence generation, accountability, learning, and adaptive management while supporting project teams to demonstrate sustainable impact at community, local and national level in line with CRS MEAL policies and procedures and donor requirements.

As the County Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) Lead for the project, the Senior Project Officer MEAL will coordinate and oversee implementation of the project MEAL system in the assigned county, advancing Catholic Relief Services’ (CRS) work serving the poor and vulnerable. Working under the technical leadership of the Program Manager - MEAL, the position will lead county level monitoring, data management and quality assurance, accountability, learning and reporting; provide technical guidance to project and partner teams; and ensure that reliable performance information and participant feedback inform timely decisions, corrective action and continuous improvement. The position will work closely with county project leadership, implementing partners, government counterparts, community representatives and relevant technical and operations teams to promote harmonized MEAL approaches, compliance with CRS and donor requirement, and high-quality delivery of food assistance, food for assets and nutrition related project activities.

Recent programming includes the $146 million Kenya Nawiri activity in Isiolo and Marsabit, a multisectoral project linking nutrition, health and resilient livelihoods. CRS is also leading a USDA-funded Food for Peace emergency food security and nutrition program in Turkana and Marsabit, providing critical assistance while helping households move from crisis toward recovery and more resilient livelihoods.

Uganda Heart Institute
Shall be the first point of contact for patients and visitors and shall handle basic administrative tasks and front desk tasks in the Institute.
To support maintenance of a safe and secure environment for patients, staff, clients , property, and hospital assets by implementing security procedures, monitoring access and activities, responding to security incidents, and reporting security concerns in accordance with institutional policies and procedures.
Responsible for maintenance and repairing various facilities to enable optimal functioning and safety and contributing to the smooth operation of the hospital’s infrastructure.
